I currently have a lot of art coming out of the studio at the moment! Last week I released Salty Skies – this week I’d like to introduce to you my stunning painting that features a colour palette that I’ve revisited and named, Ocean Eyes.

It is available here directly on my website – so if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. And if you are thinking about getting this for your walls, please don’t hesitate, I have a feeling it won’t be available for long!

Be sure to check it out on my portfolio section to see larger and detailed photos. View Ocean Eyes

This piece, Ocean Eyes, continues to draw inspiration from prevailing themes of the emotions revealed by our relationship with the ocean and her elements. These exposed feelings are translated into colour and rhythm.

At times, these emotions are recognised in another and represented in their eyes, the gateway at times to hiding places and emphasising to us that fear is the biggest obstacle in pursuit of uncharted territory, more so than the obstacle itself – and reminding us to always be present and thrive in the beauty and raw power of the ocean.

“Careful creature
Made friends with time
He left her lonely with a diamond mind
And those ocean eyes”
